Management
Later in my career, I transitioned more into the management side of production. From behind the scenes with mechanicals, to handling internal and external relationships. I oversaw production details such as materials, dielines, processes, and pricing. Upon release of artwork, I would approve all PDF proofs, review golden samples, and discuss ongoing improvements. I worked closely with Program Managers to iron out project requirements and create production timelines.
I maintained cost sheets across multiple products & vendors and initiated cost down exercises every other quarter. In recent years, I’ve evaluated new materials with a focus on sustainability (materials, process, structure).
